Your image stays in your browser

ImageToBeads processes source images locally for pattern generation, editing, recovery, and PNG export. The tool does not upload your source image or pattern as part of those actions.

Local draft

When you enter the pattern editor, one current draft—including the source image, crop, settings, pattern, and display preferences—is stored in IndexedDB on this device. The converter preview is temporary. You can remove the draft with “New pattern.” Private browsing, browser cleanup, or storage limits may remove it.

Feedback

If you send feedback, we store the message, topic, language, page, submission time, and the optional email you provide. Source images and patterns are not attached. Feedback is retained for up to 180 days for review and follow-up, then deleted or anonymized.

Third parties

The production site may later load non-essential advertising, analytics, or donation links. Those services will not be required to create, save, or export a pattern, and this notice will be updated before they are enabled.
