What are fuse beads?

The short answer

Fuse beads are small craft beads you arrange on a pegboard. Following the instructions for your materials, heat joins the beads into a piece you can lift off the board.

Keep these in mind

  • The beads supply the colors; the board holds their positions.
  • A pattern tells you where to place them. You can also make your own design.
  • Use the bead size and board intended for each other. Follow the brand instructions for fusing, including adult handling of the iron.
